2. Quotes and Pricing
Any quote provided by CTM Crane Trucks is based on the information supplied by the customer at the time of enquiry.
Additional charges may apply where project requirements differ from the information originally provided, including changes to site conditions, access requirements, waiting time, additional travel, loading or unloading requirements, extended hire periods or other circumstances outside the original scope.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, a quote does not constitute a guarantee that the final cost will remain unchanged where circumstances affecting the work change.
3. Booking and Cancellation
A booking is considered confirmed only after CTM Crane Trucks has accepted the booking and agreed on the relevant service details.
Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible if a booking needs to be cancelled, postponed or changed.
Cancellation or postponement fees may apply depending on the timing of the cancellation, equipment allocation, operator availability and costs already incurred by CTM Crane Trucks.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the proposed lifting or transport work.
This may include information about load dimensions and weight, pickup and delivery locations, site access, ground conditions, overhead obstructions, lifting requirements, delivery timeframes and any known site restrictions.
Customers must ensure that the work area is reasonably accessible and that any required permissions, approvals or site arrangements are in place unless responsibility for these matters has been expressly agreed otherwise.
5. Site Access and Conditions
Crane truck operations depend on suitable site conditions and safe access. CTM Crane Trucks may decline, postpone or modify work where site conditions are considered unsuitable or unsafe.
Factors may include restricted access, unstable ground, inadequate clearance, overhead powerlines or structures, weather conditions, traffic conditions, insufficient working space or other hazards.
6. Loading, Lifting and Transport
All lifting and transport activities are subject to the capabilities and operating limits of the equipment used and the conditions of the site.
Customers must not require an operator to perform work that exceeds the equipment's rated capacity, applicable safety requirements or the operator's professional assessment.
Where required, customers must provide appropriate instructions, access, documentation and site personnel necessary for the safe completion of the work.
7. Safety
Safety is a fundamental requirement of every CTM Crane Trucks operation. Our operators may stop or refuse work where they reasonably consider that continuing would create an unacceptable safety risk.
Customers and other persons at the worksite must follow reasonable safety instructions given by CTM Crane Trucks personnel.
8. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances
CTM Crane Trucks will make reasonable efforts to attend jobs at agreed times. However, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, mechanical issues, site conditions, accidents, road restrictions, emergency situations or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where delays occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, CTM Crane Trucks will endeavour to communicate with the customer and reschedule or adjust the service where reasonably possible.
9. Equipment
CTM Crane Trucks may determine the most suitable crane truck or equipment for the agreed work based on the information provided by the customer and the operational requirements of the project.
Equipment may be substituted where reasonably necessary, provided the replacement equipment is suitable for the agreed scope of work.
10. Damage and Liability
Customers must take reasonable care of any equipment, access areas and property under their control during the service.
To the extent permitted by law, CTM Crane Trucks is not responsible for loss or damage arising from inaccurate information supplied by the customer, unsafe site conditions, inadequate access, undisclosed hazards, customer instructions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Australian law.

We endeavour to keep the information on this website accurate and current. However, website content is provided for general information and may change without notice.
